Save Money With Great British Insulation Scheme
The Great British Insulation Scheme is a government-run funding program designed to help property owners get free or cheaper insulation to reduce energy bills.
The GBIS scheme is NOT means tested and you do not need to be claiming benefits as it’s the property that qualifies, You could be eligible for GBIS if your home meets the following eligibility requirements:
- Council Tax band A-E in Scotland
- Energy Performance Rating of D-G
What funding is available from Home Energy Scotland?
Home Energy Scotland (‘HES’) is funded by the Scottish Government and run by the Energy Saving Trust.
If you don’t qualify for ECO4 funding, there are other funding options that you may be eligible for.
This funding is a mix of interest free loans and cashback, effectively a grant, and is not means tested.
