What funding is available from Home Energy Scotland?
The Home Energy Scotland (HES) Grant & Loan Scheme is a Scottish Government programme to provide Scottish homeowners with a grant, interest free loan or a combination of both to install energy efficiency upgrades such as insulation and renewable heating systems.
- Air-source heat pump grants of £7,500, plus additional £7,500 interest free loan
- Insulation grants up to 75% of the cost to a maximum grant of £7,500.
- Rural homes can claim an additional £1,500 grant above this.
The Energy Company Obligation (ECO) is a UK Government energy efficiency and fuel poverty programme designed to support eligible households by helping them reduce energy.
Applications for are made directly to HES.
