Green Home Systems Ltd Responds to UK-Wide ECO4/GBIS Wall Insulation Audit

GREEN HOME SYSTEMS LTD STATEMENT ON RECENT UK-WIDE AUDIT OF ECO4 / GBIS INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL WALL INSULATION

The Government’s ECO4 and Great British Insulation Scheme was recently subject to an independent Trustmark audit. As per the link below, this has resulted in the suspension of 39 businesses that installed poor quality external and internal wall insulation under the ECO4 programme.

We would like to confirm and reassure our partners that Green Home Systems is not one of these businesses. We are subject to rigorous and regular Trustmark audits across all ECO4 measures, including all insulation types, air source heat pump and solar PV panel installation. All our works have Trustmark approval, and we have never failed an ECO4 audit.

In addition to Trustmark checks, we undergo numerous audits from trade bodies and have robust internal quality assurance processes in place, such as ISO14001 accreditation.

Our focus is on quality of product and installation, and the highest level of customer service, and we hold ourselves accountable to these values.
It is disappointing that rogue installers tarnish the reputation of schemes that are vital to help those in need save money on energy bills and help the UK on its journey to net zero.

We welcome the Government’s action against these traders, and support significantly more auditing to weed out installers who provide substandard quality and service.
We will continue to engage with our trade bodies and stakeholders to help uphold the highest standards and ensure more accountability across our sector.
