Chamber Business Awards 2023

Green Home Systems has been named Scottish regional winner of the Planet Saver category at the British Chambers of Commerce Business Awards. The Irvine-based energy efficiency specialist will now face other regional winners from across the UK for the national title.

The Planet Saver – Green Business of the Year Award is presented to an organisation that has shown sustainability to be at the heart of their business, and who are fully committed to sustainable best practice and making the world a better and safer place.

The Chamber Business Awards are regarded as one of the UK’s most contested and prestigious business award programmes, recognising and promoting the best of British business through a series of regional heats.

The award recognises the emphasis and commitment that Green Home Systems places on sustainability, with its core business strategy being to reduce its customers’ energy use and lift families out of fuel poverty while reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

Green Home Systems was established in 2014 and operates across Scotland, installing thermal insulation, smart heating systems, renewable energy technologies, and electric vehicle charge points. The impact-driven company has completed more than 16,500 energy efficiency projects, lifted more than 7,000 families out of fuel poverty, and abated more than 500,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide from being emitted into the atmosphere.
