If you live in Ayrshire and are struggling to heat your home or trying to reduce your carbon footprint we can help.

What is The Ayrshire & Arran ECO4 Project?

The Ayrshire & Arran ECO4 Project is part of a UK Government energy efficiency programme called the Energy Company Obligation (or “ECO”). It is being delivered locally by Green Home Systems in partnership with NHS Ayrshire & Arran across the three local authority areas of North Ayrshire, South Ayrshire and East Ayrshire.

The Project can fund free and low cost energy efficiency measures to make your home warmer while reducing your energy bills and carbon footprint. The types of measures include:

  • insulation to your roof, walls, and floor
  • new or upgraded heating such as air-source heat pumps and slimline high heat retention electric storage heaters
  • renewable measures such as solar panels (solar may not be available if you live within a conservation area).

Ayrshire & Arran residents can apply using the application form below.
